Turkish club Sakaryaspor guarantee their players were cut by an Amed SK player

Turkish third division club Sakaryaspor have blamed an Amed SK rival for cutting some of their players "with a sharp article" amid a group diversion.

They state various players went to medical clinic after the match with wounds.

Sakaryaspor state players were additionally assaulted as they investigated the pitch before their away match and again amid the warm-up - with a player from either side red-checked before commencement.

They detailed the assault to the police, asserting the ref did nothing.

"After the match, our players were taken to emergency clinic and it was demonstrated that those cuts were caused because of a strike with a sharp article," a Sakaryaspor articulation said.

"The issue is totally in the hands of the equity framework."

Via web-based networking media, Amed SK state the case "does not mirror the truth, it intends to focus on our club", blaming Sakaryaspor and the media for a "smear crusade".
