World Rugby's proposition to patch up the diversion are hurtful to player welfare, state a portion of the world's driving players.

The game's global overseeing body allegedly needs to present a 12-group World League beginning in 2020.

The International Rugby Players (IRP) bunch has examined the plans, which its leader, Ireland fly-half Johnny Sexton, portrayed as "distant".

World Rugby said its "responsibility to player welfare matters is immovable".

Britain chief Owen Farrell stated: "This proposition hints at no improving an effectively troublesome circumstance.
