Sebastian Vettel crashes Ferrari on day two of Barcelona test
Sebastian Vettel slammed his Ferrari on the second day of the last pre-season test in Barcelona, extremely abridging the group's running.
Vettel lost control after what the group depicted as "a mechanical issue" at the 150mph Turn Three and hit the boundaries, causing broad harm.
"From the inclination in the vehicle it was an issue with the front-left corner," the German said.
McLaren's Carlos Sainz set the quickest time, from Racing Point's Sergio Perez.
Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton were eighth and ninth quickest individually.
Vettel, who was third quickest, said the group were experiencing issues building up what had caused the occurrence.
"It would be significantly simpler if there was a great deal of run-off and the vehicle didn't hit anything directly after in light of the fact that now it is genuinely harmed as a result of the hit. So we must be cautious working out what occurred," he said.
