European Indoor Championships: Laura Muir has 'genuine conviction' to win decorations
England's Laura Muir has "total certainty" in her capacity to "win worldwide decorations", says British Athletics execution chief Neil Black.
The Scot protects her 1500m and 3,000m titles at Glasgow's European Indoor Championships, which begin on Friday.
The occasion is the first of a long season for Muir, 25, who graduated as a vet from Glasgow University a year ago.
"What Laura is doing now is exhibiting her inward conviction that it will occur," said Black.
"That depends on obvious conviction. We have all observed Laura advance as a competitor, as an entertainer and an individual and I am inconceivably inspired."
