Leicester City appoint former Celtic boss as manager

Brendan Rodgers has been selected Leicester City's new director subsequent to relinquishing his profession at Celtic.
The Northern Irishman has marked an agreement until June 2022 and succeeds Claude Puel, who was sacked on Sunday following 16 months in control.
It denotes a Premier League return for Rodgers, who recently overseen Liverpool and Swansea City.
"I'll give my life to make the supporters glad for their club," Rodgers said.
Including that he was "special and regarded" to take on the job, he stated: "Together, we'll be more grounded and I'm anticipating working with the players, staff and supporters to make the correct strides forward."
